Horace was retired from the planer mill at Weyerhaeuser and was a local cattleman. Earlier in his life, Horace was with the Civilian Conservation Corps stationed at Cody, WY. Never afraid of hard work, he enjoyed ranching, farming, and the outdoors. Horace loved his family and was always helpful to his community. He was affiliated with the Wright City Assembly of God Church.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Ellie Moore; a son, William Sherrill Moore; a grandson, Wendell (Scotty) Moore; and a sister, Evelyn Tyler.Horace leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lucy, of the home; two sons and three daughters-in-law, James (Jim Ed) and Brenda Moore, of Valliant, Curtis (Rabo) and Jeanetta Moore, and Dianne Moore, of Wright City; six grandchildren, Pam White and husband Marty and Bill Moore and wife Misty, both of Wright City, Kelly Moore of Idabel, Russell (Rusty) Moore of DeQueen, AR, Ronald (Munford) Moore of Valliant, Travis (Roscoe) and Whitney Moore of Millerton; six great-grandchildren, Brandy and Chris McCullough, Amanda and Jeremy Perry, Blake Moore, Macy Moore, Riley Moore, and Michael Weston Moore; three great-great-grandchildren, Kaeson and Kaylee McCullough and Conner Perry; one brother, Howard Moore of Bend, OR; one sister, Melrine, of Texarkana, TX; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 11, 2007, at Green Chapel Assembly of God Church with Bro.Tag Rowan and Bro. Randy Watkins officiating.
