Hershel R. James, 65 of Broken Bow, OK passed away on March 22, 2013 at Hochatown, OK. He was born February 5, 1948 in Apache, OK, the son of Lester and Ruby (Gill) James. Hershel married Belle Moore on February 13, 1987 in Dequeen, AR. He lived in this area all his life. Hershel loved his family and was a hard worker who took care of his family. A true Cowboy, Hershel loved his horses, walking in the woods and hunting. He was a outdoorsman. Those who really knew Hershel knew he was from the "Old School of Hershel James." Hershel is survived by his wife, Belle James of Broken Bow; sons, Robert Hughett Jr and wife, Mandy of Dalton, GA, Chris Hughett and wife, Rhonda of Idabel, OK; special buddy, "QUINTON" of Broken Bow, OK; three brothers, Lonnie James and wife, Darlene of Broken Bow, OK, Russell James of Purcell, OK and Leonard James of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Christopher and Andrea of Dalton, GA, Alex, Jace and Kiel of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ruby James and one sister, Mary Ruth Wilson. Serving as Pallbearers are Robert Hughett Jr, Chris Hughett, Leonard James, Lonnie James, Donald Moore, Tommy Moore, Odell James, Pabe Harrington, Ron Christie, Brantly Quiroz, Steve Moore and Dale Moore.
