Life time resident, Grover Chapman Jr, passed away, Monday, February 4, 2013, at his home in Broken Bow. Grover was born, April 14, 1937, the son of Grover and Jenny Stella (McCain) Chapman Sr. Grover married the love of his life, Louise Gold in Broken Bow on September 24, 1956 sharing 54 beautiful years together. He had worked road construction for Weyerhaeuser. Grover loved spending time with his family especially fishing with his great-grandson, Jayden. He enjoyed yard work, gardening, riding 4-wheelers and feeding his deer. Grover is survived by two daughters, Teresa Gibson and husband Melvin, Cindy Maness and husband, David; grand-daughter, Jennifer Emery and husband, Jarrod; great-grandson, Jayden; one brother, James Chapman and wife Barbara all of Broken Bow; special friend, Dorene Melton and a host of friends. Grover was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Louise, grandson, Chad Gibson and sister, Tessie Kemp. The pallbearers will be Virgil Lee Whitten, Lewis Whitten, Dennis White, Rodney Evans, Mike Bray and DeWayne Melton.
