Gloria Jean Short

Gloria Short, age 85, of Mena, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, March 16, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 29, 1940 to Carl Farrar and Blanche Smith Farrar in Dallas, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Carl and Blanche Farrar, her husband, Thomas Short Sr.; her sister, Helen Lindgren, and brother, Howard Farrar.

Gloria is survived by her sons, Thomas Short Jr. and his wife, Amber and, Anthony Ray Williamson; daughters, Robin Williamson and Amanda Cottle; her grandchildren, Maddie, Gracie, Max, Haddon, Hannah, and Ben and along with a host of other friends and family.

2 Corinthians 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
