Glenda Kaye Wilson-Ferguson of Texarkana, TX, who was born April 10, 1950 in Durant, OK, went to be with her Lord on January 9, 2010. She passed away in Dallas, TX surrounded by her loving family.\\r\\n \\r\\n Glenda and Bill Ferguson married September 3, 2000. She attended Henderson Metro Church, Henderson, TX for seven years and while living in Texarkana attended the Church on the Rock. Glenda received her Associates Degree from Paris Junior College, Paris, TX and went on to receive her B.S.N. from the University of Oklahoma. Glenda enjoyed gardening, cooking, decorating and church functions. Family was most important to Glenda and she always looked forward to spending time with her family and friends.\\r\\n \\r\\n She is reunited in heaven with her father, Grant Wilson; a sister, Tiajuana Morris; a brother-in-law, John Westbrook; her grandparents, Calvin and Cornelia Wilson, and Calvin and Lutie Preas.\\r\\n \\r\\n She is survived by her husband, Bill Ferguson of the home; her mother, Jean Wilson, of Bethel, OK; four children and their spouses, Paula Allen of Texarkana, TX, Billy Allen and wife Julie of Geronimo, OK, Jamie Allen and wife Traci of Cooper, TX, Katie McClenan and husband C. Jay, of Henderson, TX; five siblings, Janet Smalling of Lyon, France, Gary Wilson, of Texarkana, TX, Ellen Westbrook, Broken Arrow, OK, Michael Wilson, of Bethel, OK, Stephanie McKinney, of Branson, MO; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. A special thank you to the friends and family that sat with Glenda at the hospital.\\r\\n \\r\\n Glenda leaves us all with many treasured and happy memories. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed. The family extends deep appreciation for all the love, prayers, and support that has been received during her long and hard fought battle with cancer. \\r\\n \\r\\n Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, with Pastor Billy Cain, and Pastor Mike Ulmar officiating.
