Gladys Rudell Harris, 89 of Broken Bow, passed away November 15, 2014 at Paris, TX. She was born September 16, 1925 in New Albany, Mississippi, the daughter of Will and Dovie Mayo. On March 12, 1949 she married Walter W. Harris at New Albany, Mississippi. They made their home here in Broken Bow for the last fifty plus years. She was of the Baptist faith. Gladys was a homemaker who enjoyed flowers and flower gardens. She especially loved to go out to eat and be with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Billy Harris and wife, Judy of Broken Bow; daughters, Ann Hudson of Hochatown, Kathy Johnson and husband, Don of Broken Bow, Dian Harris Willis and husband, Chuck of Houston, Texas; special friend, Willie Duncan; siblings, Myrtle Hill, Kay Mayo, Katie Jones, Robert Mayo, Kenneth Mayo and Bud Mayo all of Mississippi; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter W. Harris; daughters, Ardie Myers, Brenda Dollar and Ruby Nava; son-in-law, Glen Hudson; and sisters, May Hill and Modine Stephens; brothers, German Mayo, Troy Mayo, Roy Mayo, W.C.
