George "Buckeye" Osborne, 70, of Broken Bow, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The son of John and Darkie (Alley) Osborne, George was born on March 5, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky. He had lived in this community for thirty-nine years and worked as a truck driver for Terry Pannell Trucking. George was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was of the Pentecostal faith. George was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Mae Osborne; one grandson, Rufus J. Hardage Jr.; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his five children, George Allen Osborne of Broken Bow, Joseph Osborne of Granite, OK, Robert Osborne of Pine Bluff, AR, Katherine Hardage and her husband, Rufus Sr., of Wright City, Millissa Johnson and her husband, Jerome, of Broken Bow; two brothers, Eulis Osborne of Jackson, OH, Wytt Osborne of Londondairy, OH; one sister, Tam Osborne of Jackson, OH; and several grandchildren.Cemetery:Interment will follow Broken Bow Cemetery. \nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of George Osborne, please visit our floral store.
