George Bice, 79, of Oak Hill passed away April 20, 2016 at the Paris Regional Medical Center. George served his country in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed old westerns, Christian programming and the Military Channel on television. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and dirt bikes. He owned cattle and many other kinds of livestock. He worked at the Craig Plant for twenty - five years, many as a general manager. He attended Faith Christian Center in Broken Bow. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lynn Bice of Oak Hill; his daughters and sons-in-law, Whitney and Matt Mitchell of Oak Hill, Bethany and Don Wilcox of Phoenix, AZ; his sister, and brother-in-law, Ann and Sonny Inman of Benbrook, TX; six grandchildren, Kyle Mitchell, Kassie Mitchell, Konnor Mitchell, Rebekah Widener, Abigail Helm and Cayra Helm; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Samuel Darby and Randy Helm. He is also survived by special dog, Jaxie. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Slater Lynn Bice; several brothers and sisters. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Oak Hill Independent Assembly of God Church in Oak Hill Community with Rev. Chuck Darby officiating. Interment will follow at Watson Memorial Cemetery, Oak Hill, OK. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday evening at Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, OK.
