Gabriel "Bill" Tonihka, age 21, passed from this life on July 6, 2021. He was born on August 24, 1999 in Talihina to Barry and Tracie Tonihka. Bill lived all his life in McCurtain County.\nBill was affiliated with Bethel Hill United Methodist Church. He was a 2017 graduate of Battiest High School. Bill was very athletic. He enjoyed playing all sports, especially baseball and playing coed fastpitch softball with the Bethel Braves at Tuskahoma. Bill also liked hunting and spending time with his nieces.\nBill was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandma, Elizabeth Tonihka; paternal grandpa, Flader Tonihka; maternal grandpa, Benjamin Franklin; aunt, Nawatha Baker; and cousins, Rendi Franklin and Kevin Raymond.\nLeft to cherish his memories are his mother, Tracie Tonihka-Willis (Elesten "Jr."), of the home; brothers, Joshua Colbert and Jeremiah Colbert, both of Bethel; sister, Shacy Tonihka, of Bethel; grandmother, Virginia Franklin; nieces, Cambree Colbert, Kylei Colbert, Adaline Colbert, Nevaeh Tonihka; a nephew on the way; special aunts and uncles, Kirk and Jolynn Tonihka, of Bethel, Dwayne and Michelle Tonihka, of Battiest, Marietha and Larry Bond, of Bethel, Valerie Franklin, of Battiest, Thelma and Rick Kaniatobi, of Glover, Wahneeta and Richard Ferguson, of Shady Point, Inese and Shaun Mitchell, of Garvin, Neomi Franklin, of Battiest, Rowena Franklin, of Bethel, Ben Franklin Jr., of Ardmore, Brian Franklin of Broken Bow, and Brent Franklin, of Oklahoma City; special cousins, Enchil and Deedra Tonhika, both of Battiest; special friends, Nakia Leal, of Battiest, Brandon Stovall, of Bethel, Talon Bohannon, and Katherine Colbert; along with many other special family members and friends.\nA Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Bethel Hill United Methodist Church.\nA Wake Service will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM at Brumley Funeral Home.\n\nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Gabriel Bill Tonihka, please visit our floral store.
