Esther Frazier, 67, of Idabel, passed away September 27, 2010 at her home in Idabel. The daughter of Jonah and Pearl (Stewart) Frazier, Esther was born July 31, 1943 in Talihina, Oklahoma. She graduated from Haskell High School and then attended Haskell Institute where she earned an Associate degree in business. Esther then moved to California and worked for the City of Los Angeles as a property management supervisor. After leaving California, she relocated to Amarillo, Texas and was employed by Arrowhead Mills for ten years. In 1995 she made her home in Idabel and enjoyed things such as playing golf, softball and volleyball. Esther also enjoyed singing gospel music and sang with The Masters gospel group. She was very family oriented and cherished the time she shared with her family especially during the Christmas holiday. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Idabel, Oklahoma Esther was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wilson Frazier and one sister, Frances Meetze. She leaves to cherish her memory, four sisters, Evelyn Shields of Oklahoma City, Dorothy Holden of Oklahoma City, Liz Factor and her husband, John of Moore, OK, Velma John of Wright City; special friend, Marilyn Williams; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and Southeast Hospice and staff.
