Elmer Norris James, 62, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away, October 23, 2013 at his home in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born August 24, 1951 in Talihina, OK the son of Isaac and Alice (Billy) James. Elmer enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, hunting and detailing vehicles. He served his country in the United States Army. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of thirty years, Patricia Harris James of the home; five sons, Jerrod and wife Laura James of Ada, OK, Michael James and wife, Haley of Talihina, OK, Michael Alan James of Ft. Worth, TX and Brian James of New York; one daughter, Janel Noah and husband, Kendall of Broken Bow, OK; brother, Dalton James; sisters, Evelyn Tims of Oklahoma City, OK, Cledith Harding and husband, Doug of Okmulgee, OK; grandchildren, Emery, Kambrie, Jocelyn, Sarah, Abigail, Elizabeth, Kyler, Michael J. and one on the way; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Brothers-in-law, Mike and Alfred Harris of Wright City, OK, Gilbert Harris and wife, Sandra of Idabel, OK, Gary Harris of Hollycreek, OK, Wayne Harris and wife, Priscilla of Valliant, OK; mother-in-law, Mary Harris of Valliant, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jason Lee James; brothers, Manuel, Neil and Baby Boy James; sisters, Annece and Hazel; nephews, Howard Forbit and Ted Michael Strain; grand-daughter, Kyleigh Rayanne James.Cemetery:Interment will follow at Kulli Chito Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
