Doris Andrew

Doris Lorraine Andrew, age 90, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at her home. She was born on Thursday, November 10, 1932 to Willie E. and Ella Weber Knebel in Waller, Texas.

Doris was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Idabel. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend that will be missed by all who knew her.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold B. Andrew Sr.; her one daughter, Cindy Jones; and her one brother, Kenneth Knebel.

Doris is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Burt and Vicki Andrew of Royce City, Texas; Douglas and Sharon Andrew of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; Curtis and Kathy Andrew of Stillwater, Oklahoma; son-in-law Merle Jones of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Doris will be remembered for her love of nature, her sense of humor, a strong character, and a strength of spirit that touched the people who knew and loved her.

No services are planned, with cremation services entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
