Debra Denise Smith, of Bethel, gained her angel wings the morning of November 7, 2020, Paris, TX. Debbie was born November 3, 1958 in Odessa, TX, to Marshall Don and Carol Mullis. \nDebbie was a member of the Pickens Assembly of God Church and had lived in McCurtain County since 1969 coming from Odessa, TX. Debbie was always there to lend a hand. She helped organize the summer baseball league for many years. Debbie loved gardening and her flowers. She owned the Bethel Flower Shop for 3 years. Family was important to Debbie. She loved music, loved her church family, and serving the Lord. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She could always be found cooking, canning, or shopping; mostly Christmas shopping. Debbie and her husband, Cleo, were the owners of Beavers Bend Restaurant for 13 years, Smith's Good Eats for 5 years, and she finally found her love for the coffee business at the Hochatown Coffee Central.\nDebbie married her loving husband, Cleo Smith, on June 10, 1994, in DeQueen, AR.\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Carol Mullis.\nDebbie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Cleo, of Bethel; children, Monica Holmes, and Ben, of Bethel, Scott Foster, and Courtney, of Bethel, Sab Smith, and Amber, of Bethel, Misty Kemp, and Steve, of Pickens, and Jodie Hendricks, of Poteau; sisters, Pam Price, and Mike, of Broken Bow, Missy Burkham, and Michael, of Omaha, Nebraska, and Prissy Tharp, of Smithville; grandchildren, Clayton Foster, and Justine, of Bethel, Skie Wilson, and Daniel, of Battiest, Stoney Holmes, of Bethel, Maddox Foster, Landon (Bubby) Foster, Kadrian and Korian Hurd, Chase Baggs, and Sara, of Bethel, Sydney, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Shaye and Seth Smith, of Wister, Konnor and Jade Smith, of Bethel, Kori LaFevers, of Poteau, and Dax Hendricks, of Poteau; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Roree, Willow, Rowan, Wilson, Mason, Parker, Reed, and Ryker; a host of nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.\nA Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be Tuesday, November 17, 2020 10AM at the Bethel Cemetery, Bethel, OK.\nVisitation will be Monday, November 16, 2020 from 6-8PM at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel. \n\nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Debbie (Mullis) Smith, please visit our floral store.
