Coty Cathey Obituary (1987 - 2021)

Coty Dale Cathey, of Broken Bow, passed from this life April 16, 2021, in Broken Bow. Coty was born to Richard Dale Cathey and Teresa Louise (Ward) Lindsay. Coty had lived in McCurtain County all of his life. He enjoyed being with his family, watching movies, and playing video games with his son. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roger and Linda Ward; and paternal grandmother, Nancy Fillingame. Coty is survived by his father, Richard "Red" Cathey, of Glover; his loving mother, Teresa Lindsay, and Michael Lindsay, of Oklahoma City; son, Nathan Cathey, of Broken Bow; daughters, Amelia Cathey, of Claremore, and Aurora Cathey, of Idabel; brothers, Justin Cathey, and Mandy, of Glover, Christopher Cathey, and Jennifer, of Oklahoma City, Isaiah Clark, and Samantha, of Oklahoma City, Timothy Brown, and Selena, of TN; sisters, Gina Jo Cathey, of Conway, AR, Jessica Barrow, and John, of Oklahoma City, and Jessica Baker; niece, Marie Louise Cathey, and several other nieces and nephews; and special friend, Savannah Barnes, of Broken Bow, along with other friends. A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, at 2PM, at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sweethome Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 6-8PM, also at the chapel.
