Chris Lawrence, age 50, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023. He was born on Tuesday, November 14, 1972, to Orlan Lawrence and Betty Jean (Draper) Lawrence in Malvern, Arkansas.\n\nChris' fun loving and over the top personality radiated in everything he did. He was always ready for the next trip, event or adventure. Chris loved traveling with his family and camping. He was a very giving and generous person. Chris would always offer his help, his time, supplies, money and sometimes just a listening ear. He loved Jesus and he loved his family and friends. Chris enjoyed delivering the Ouachita Trading Post papers on Tuesday because he knew he would get to stop and visit with several of his favorite people. Chris was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew him. \n\nHe is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister. \n\nChris is survived by his loving wife, Jeri Dee Moore-Lawrence of Mena, Arkansas; one daughter, Mya Lea Lawrence of Malvern, Arkansas; four stepchildren, Vincent Matthew DiJulio of Malvern, Arkansas, Jami Davidson of Mena, Arkansas, Phoebe Moore of Mena, Arkansas and Greyson Moore of Mena, Arkansas; his beloved dog Harley; as well as a host of other relatives and dear friends.\n\nA memorial service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Mena, Arkansas with Brother Russell Threet and Brother Kevin Williams officiating. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
