Catherine Lackey

Catherine Christine Lackey, age 69, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, died on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel. She was born on Sunday, July19, 1953 to Ollie Leonard and Vera Langston White in Kountze, Texas.

Catherine was a woman that loved her family and being with her husband, Richard. She was a faithful member of the Golden Church of Christ. Catherine enjoyed bead working, crocheting and knitting. Catherine was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Vera White; one brother, Norris White; one sister, Leona Dinscore, and one nephew, Wayne Taylor.

Catherine is survived by her husband of 29 years, Richard Lackey of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; her brothers, Robert Lee White of Broaddus, Texas, Eugene White of Franklin, Texas, Marion White of Vidor, Texas, Ted White of Cameron, Texas and Horace Jay White of Dodd City, Texas; her sisters, Sarah Taylor of Cameron, Texas, Doris Eisfeldt of Cameron, Texas; her father in law, Ray Lackey of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; her brothers and sisters in law, Steve and Vicky Lackey of Teague, Texas, Linda and Henry Lester of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Pam Lawrence of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with Brother William St. John and Brother Mike Knox officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 5-7 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. A private interment will follow at the Broken Bow Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
