Carolyn Roy Mitchel-Duckering was born on June 12, 1944 in Lufkin, Texas and passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 79 years old in Walden, Arkansas.\n\nAs a result of Carolyn’s father being in the military, she was able to attend schools and experience living in many different places while growing up. In 1970, she graduated from Baptist Tabernacle College with a major in Elementary Education. She taught school in three different states and retired from her teaching career in Rapids Parish, LA.\n\nCarolyn was an ordained minister of the Church of God and served many years in churches across the south and the mission field.\n\nCarolyn was talented in so many areas including cooking, painting, crafts, cake decorating, and ceramics.
