Bill Barton, 73, of Bethel, passed away surrounded by his loving family March 19, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. Bill was born in Mena to Fred Clinton and Winnie (Clift) Barton on July 27, 1946.\nBill was a member of the Church of Christ and had lived in McCurtain County most of his life. He enjoyed wood working, making cornmeal, fishing and hunting. Bill loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Bill also enjoyed travelling as a past time.\nBill and Hazel Moore were married 54 years ago May 19th in Broken Bow. \nBill was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Winnie Barton; daughter, Deborah Barton; and sister, Lois Henson.\nBill is survived by his loving wife, Hazel, of the home; son, Tony Barton, and wife, Jessica, of Octavia; daughter, Tammy Branson, and husband, Randall, of Maud, OK; grandchildren, Brayden Barton, of Octavia, Levi Branson, of Maud, and Brandi Johnson, and husband, Andrew, of Edmond; along with other relatives and many friends.\nA Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 2:00PM at the Bethel Cemetery.\n\nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Bill F.
