Bill Marcum, 85, of Broken Bow, OK passed away on January 22, 2014 at his home. He was born October 17, 1928, in Valliant, OK. He was the son of Floyd Duke and Addie Mae Marcum. He was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. After graduating from Valliant High School, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Bill was honored to be a 32nd degree Mason. He was employed by Dierks Lumber Company, and he later retired from Weyerhaeuser in management. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, but most of all Bill cherished his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill and Geleta Clinton were married on December 25, 1951, in DeQueen, AR. He is survived by his wife, Geleta, of the home, daughter LaJuana Patrick and husband, Jimmy, daughter, Debbie Williams and husband, Daryl all of Broken Bow, OK; son, Clint Marcum and wife, Mande of Durant, OK, five grandchildren, Dr. Marc Patrick and wife, Sarah, Darissa Harkey and husband, Jason of Broken Bow, OK, Kristan Patrick and fianc e, Allen Morris of Norman, OK, Dr. Taylor Marcum and wife, Heather of Oklahoma City, OK and Dathan Williams of Dallas, TX. The joy of his life were his great-grandchildren, Caleigh, Cole, Cade Patrick and Slate Harkey all of Broken Bow, OK and Brock Morris of Norman, OK. Also left to cherish him memories are a special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Doe and Johnnie Clinton of Broken Bow, OK.
