Darlene Solomon

Beverly Darlene Solomon, age 79, of Cherry Hill, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at her home. She was born on Saturday, October 29, 1945 to Pierce and Mae Dilbeck Furlong in Glendale, Oregon.

Darlene was a happy-go-lucky soul who always sought out the silver linings in life. Her optimism and unwavering happiness were contagious to all who knew her. A dedicated and compassionate mother, Darlene always made time for her children, serving as their greatest champion and source of unconditional love. She believed in doing her best and treating everyone with kindness, a reflection of her immense heart and deep love for her family. Darlene worked for many years as a caretaker and at PC/DC, where she cherished the meaningful connections she made. Darlene leaves behind her beloved dogs who she loved with all her heart. She was a wonderful person to meet, loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger Solomon; and her daughter, Bethany Solomon; and one brother, Pierce Darwin Furlong.

Darlene is survived by her son, Scotty Solomon of Cherry Hill; her daughter, Dana Solomon of Cherry Hill; two sisters, Dorothy Walker of Oregon and Dwalia Martin of Texas; one sister in law, Tawana Gilbert; several nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation services are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
