Benny Frost

Benny Lee Frost, age 82, of Mena, Arkansas, died Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on Tuesday, September 7, 1943 to Pat and Rudell Wilson Frost in Mena, Arkansas.

Benny was a man who lived a life rooted in service, love, and simple joys. He grew up attending Church of Christ. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, carrying that same sense of dedication into all areas of his life. Benny dearly loved his family, and his grandchildren were a special source of pride and happiness, especially when cheering them on in their sporting events. He enjoyed spending time with friends playing cards, raising a large garden, and generously sharing the fruits of his labor with others. An avid outdoorsman, Benny found great peace in hunting and fishing. His kind heart, generous spirit, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Benny is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, J.D. Frost and Billy Jack Frost and one sister, Johnnie Dover.

Benny is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Debbie Frost of Mena, Arkansas; his son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Lauren Frost of Mena; his daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Kevin Williams of Mena, Arkansas; two brothers, Ron and Don Frost of Mena, Arkansas; two sisters, Patsy Phillips of Mena, Arkansas and Mary States of Tyrone, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Tessa and Jenna Williams and Barrett and Blake Frost all of Mena, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A family Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at a later date with cremation services entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
