A.R. "Sonny" Tucker Obituary (2018 - 2018)

A.R. "Sonny" Tucker, of Broken Bow, OK passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the age of 76.The son of Authur Roy Sr. and Eunice L. (Montgomery) Tucker, Sonny was born on March 26, 1942 in Shinewell, Oklahoma. He had lived in this area all of his life and was of the Pentecostal faith. Sonny had worked as a log truck driver and when he wasn't driving his log truck he was working on his 55 Chevy. He also took time to fly fish which he enjoyed. Sonny had a very warm personality and enjoyed joking with family and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Authur Roy Sr and Eunice Tucker; his first wife, Aris Arlene Tucker; one sister, Mary Bell Tucker.Sonny will be forever cherished by his wife, Brenda, of the home; one son, Bub Tucker of Idabel; four daughters, Kathy Tanler and her husband, Shawn, of Johnstown, OH, Roberta Green and her husband, Scott, of Imlay, NV, Denise Callaway of Wynnewood, OK, Amanda Nunn and her husband, Nick, of Broken Bow, OK; one brother, Jerry Tucker and his wife, Florence, of Shinewell, OK; one sister, Barbara Tucker of Chesapeake, VA; eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Philidelphia Cemetery in Goodwater Community.
