Guestbook for Kenneth Earl Hastey

Marlene Berry Steele
Holding your family in my heart and prayers. Kenneth was such a blessing to so many. I am thankful to have been one of the many.
Kristy "Keith" Ellison
Ken had been in our lives for as long as I remember. He felt more like a member of our family than a close friend of my dads and then of ours. I have such fond memories of him and his family. I remember a fishing trip we went on and catching this big old fish and Ken helping me to reel in it. He met my children at my grandma Keith's funeral and he made such an impression on them. They have never forgotten Mr. Hastey! They thought it very neat to know someone that knew their grandpa. A grandpa that they never had the chance to meet. Every major holiday Ken would call me and chat for a few minutes to catch up. I will miss those calls and I will miss Ken. We will always love Ken!

It's been forever since I saw you last. Seems I only got to see Aunt Jessie's family when we went to the Lodge for the family reunion or when they came by Granny Daniels house.
Shame on me for not keeping in touch all these years! You were a wonderful person and you will be missed. May the Lord comfort those you left behind as He rejoices at your home going.
My love to the family.

Kenneth was one of my cherished friends. My Mother tells the first of that friendship in my baby book when she list Kenneth Hastey as my best friend. We lived close to one another. That friend ship last all our lives and will continue in Heaven someday. I will miss him so much and will treasure every memory I have of him. He was a wonderful man who loved his family dearly. He was a loyal friend who when he told you if you need him to call and he will come. He left a wonderful legacy of his Sons, Grand-children and precious Wife and Daughters-in-law. Love you all.
